Such Thing As Mini Maxima Clams?

Guy at LFS is selling these left and right. Hes telling people they only stay 3" big and are good for nano tanks. I thought these were one of the bigger clams...

Maxima is one of the smaller clams, though not the smallest. I think he's just selling you juvinile clams.

Now if they are under 3", not only will they need the MH, but from what I have learned, heard, experienced, etc., you will also want to feed DT's or something to help suppliment their diet since.
