Strange Stuff in the Live Rock

So the LS had a really gravy sale today 30% off LR. I bought some Figi, and a few lbs. of Marshall Island. Nice pieces, good coraline. It needs to cure so its in a bucket with a powerhead.

Anyway, because I bought a good amount of it they gave me the box that it was shipped in. When I got it home, I saw in the box HUGE HUGE WORMS!!!! These things looked like nightcrawlers. I threw them out I dont care what they are or if they are good, or if they are supposed to be there ICK. Anyone get anything like that in their LR???

I also bought some yellow polyps, couple O' fuzzy mushrooms, new powerhead. I am going back for my second trip to get an extra heater too!

Anyone need anything for 20 to 30% off??

If they looked like red-brown centipede type things they might be bristle worms. They will keep your sand clean in a deep sand bed but will eat other stuff in your tank if they are too big. Good for refugium if you have one.

By the way...where do you get 20-30% off. I usually go out to Corona one a week to visit some friends.

No, these looked like nightcrawlers not bristleworms. I know what bristleworms look like. One was about 1-1/2 foot long!!! A couple of them were hiding in the cardboard under the bag some were in with the rock. Very wierd. At first I thought those were the BIGGEST **** Bristleworms I ever did see!!

Daryls Petshop in Redlands is running a sale today and Sunday. All fish and corals are 30% off and dry goods are 20% off. He had about 20 boxes of LR this morning but its all gone now. He has some cured stuff in the fish area though. He has a ton of corals, gorgonians.

The Street Address is:
860 West. Redlands Blvd. (909) 793-1788
You should go check it out!!

Where do you live?
