Strange Cuke Behavior
I've had a Tigertail cucumber for about 7 months and it's grown tremendously. It was the size of a large caterpillar when I got it, and now in its normal state, it measures 9 inches and I've seen it stretch out to about 14".
For the first many months that I had it, you would see it very little, sometimes disappearing for weeks at a time. Over time, he's gotten more bold and is generally visible all the time now. Until recently, he always had a portion of its body under some rocks or squeezed through some crevice, but in the last week, he's started wandering all over the tank at night and even up on the rocks and all the way up the back wall. It almost seems to me like it's constantly hunting for food and maybe not finding enough? I have a hard time believing he can't find enough food in my 150 gallon tank with a 6" dsb. It otherwise seems quite healthy and is fascinating to watch.
Anyone else out there with cukes in their experience exhibit this type of behavior?

My yellow one does the same thing and has been for a long time now. I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

The term too much information definitely comes into play here.

Speaking of cukes in the nude....
I had one about that size that split into two, and my husband has named them Dirk and Willie..

Sorry we got off on the "Nude cuke" tangent, what was the original intent of the thread?
