Stocking a 60g Tank

I currently have a 12g Nano with a Blue Devil Damsel, True Percula Clown, 4-Stripe Damsel, and an Orange Diamond Goby. I'm cycling a 60g tank and hope to move all these guys plus add 3 Green Chromis, 3 Spotted Cardinalfish, Six Line Wrasse, Coral Beauty, Blue Tang and Yellow Tang. I'm trying to find all relatively the same size (no larger than 3-6 inches).

Do you think I'm overstocking the 60g if I also hope to add all kinds of soft coral?

Welcome to TRT.
Sounds like a lot of fish to me. I guess it depends on water changes...as in how often, what percentage, etc...

Welcome to TRT!!

the fish you have in the 12g is plenty of fish for the 60g. i do not think you can add any fish to the 60g after upgrading from the 12g. as those damsels start growing they will get meaner and meaner. they will own the entire tank, then start killing each other off as they find the 60g to small.

Sad but true,.. as damsels get larger they get really mean, while your doing the change over I would reccomend giving the damsels back to the LFS in trade for some more peicefull fish. I personally have a figi blue devil in my sump for this very reason.

Welcome to TRT!

Is the 60 going to be a reef tank? If so, I agree that the fish you have in the 12g will be plenty for the 60g. If it's gonna be fish only, then you can probably add a few, but like the others said, damsels are trouble.

You're lucky if you can fit ONE tang in a 60g. 2 would be way too much IMO.
