my husband was blown away by the plumbing... wish I knew what was going on so I could explain it to him!
That is just stunning... well beyond expression. I am just dying to see it with fishies!!! Awesome, totally awesome.

I'm actually dissatisfied with the plumbing I may redo all the CLS and double the pumps before this is all done and said. I have to wait and see whats going on first. I'll know after I get the rock in it. The flow is fairly good right now with out all the rock slowing it down. I'm sure I'll have to do something to increase flow in them.

I don't really have anything else I post as far as pictures go. How does this flow look? These shots are from either end of the tank with all the outlets pointing in a some what downward direction. Nothing is pointing at the surface.

Personally...I didn't respond, cause it took me this long to get my JAW up off the floor.
THAT is an incredible set up! Looks REALLY sharp too!!!
LOVE to see that in person!
can not WAIT for more pics and more on this tank!
VERY nice job

I think I'm gonna have to insulate all my plumbing and my sump its about 55 degrees in my basement right now and I have 3 won 250s in the sump running about 280 gallons in it and they cannot keep up. I have another won I'll be throwing in there but I still don't think they will be able to keep up with it. I could buy several more wons but I think I will give the insulation a shot first. I may just get 4 more wons one for each tank and 1 more for the sump. It wont be an issue in the summer but in the winter time it will be not to mention is still relatively warm out side. I will also be having over 3000 watts of lights on top of the tanks so maybe I'll check again after I get those plugged in.
I still need to run three circuits up to the stand for the lights and pumps. I wonder if I could get by with running a single 30 Amp fuse? My pumps and lights come out to about 28 amps continuous power consumption. I could run 2 20 amp fuses and a couple strips of 12 AGU wire. I don't like running the 10 AGU wire required for the 30 amp fuses. Yeah, all I need to run is 2 20 amps circuits. I can run 2 MH balasts and one VHO balast on one 20 amp circuit and run the other MH and 2 VHO and the pumps off the other circuit. I'm so glad I got you guys here to help me out with this stuff.

Just FYI, you can't legaly run 30 amp circuits with standard 120 volt plugs. Your better off running multiple 20 amp circuits.
