You are doing a great job. I did notice you didnt use any couples in your plumbing. I like putting them in in case you have to disconnect anything. Great looking sump, are you planning on doing a refugium?
You want plenty of flow in your tanks. I have my returns on my cls coming up the bottom of my 105. One on each end, it keeps all the junk from settling under my rock. I have a switch value from Oceansmotions that sends the flow from one side to the other (works great).
Well anyway, you are doing a great job, I love the three tanks. Keep the pics coming!

Yes, I used unions. I just have them on the lines near the pumps for cleaning purposes. The other spots are done with silicon adheasive so I dont have to worry about the unions leaking but they will be fairly easy to remove if nessasary. I'm sure I'm going to have a DSB, and my tank is tempered so no holes in the bottom.

Here is a pic of the lights I ordered. They are the dual 400 watt 15k metal halides with URI VHO 110 watt super actinics. $1800 for all three sets. Looks like I will have to edit my signature. They didn't have any 14k bulbs. I think I'll like the 15k bulbs better any ways.

Unbeleivable, it is taking a very long time to fill my tanks up I have about 45 gallons made up after 36 hours (I think). Its gonna take all week to fill it up. I'm very nervous about leaks in my plumbing.

Just expect leaks, its easier on the nerves! The key is to be prepared and have a p[lan of action ready!
Sounds like there is alot of stuff in your water that is slowing down the RO/DI.

That could be. It could also be that its only rated at 20 gallons (?) per day. It could also be that the filter needs changed, my TDS meter is reading 4PPM after the membrane.

That could be! Our water here is so good that my 60 gallon a day kicks out water as fast as I need, way over the rating. I was thinking it was messed up the first time I got it and Called PA about it, we went through the whole thing to make sure it was built right, just good water.

I just realized that today is my 1 month aniversary to starting my build thread. Hmmm, I was thinking I would already have my tanks full of coral by now.

I just want to take my garden hose and fill them up. The sump is less than half full after 48 hours.
