Here are a couple of progress pics. I'm getting ready to paint my tanks now. I have also discovered a major flaw in my system. If anything leaks its gonna be HELL to repair it. Everything fits together so closly that I will have to tear it all up to get to anything. I need to take extra care while finnishing up my glued joints.
Here are my bulkeads in their final positions.
Here is my plumbing: returns, drian and CLS.
Here is my first critter. I think it will be ok to cycle the tank with it. I'm not sure what it is my LFS said it was a suburban mongoloidal terror but I don't think he knows what he is talking about.

I'm filling the sump up... That should take a few days. lol. I have a TDS meter for my R/O unit and when I started the unit up it was reading 186PPm going in a 487PPM going out. YUCK. Its been running for about 15 mins now, I'm gonna go check it again. 162PPM in and 9PPM out. Is that ok or should I be looking for a better RO filter? or replacing filters in the one I have? I've never had a TDS meter before.

That's normal,(if new) it will drop down. I think you should have run it for a half hour first. Then start filling.

I can always suck it out with my Shop Vac. Do you think it will make a differance? Its only about a gallon out of 395 gallons total.

this is looking very good.... as for your RO unit, when it is brand new, or whenever you change the membranes you just throw out the first 4 - 6 gallons of water that it makes. then you should be good to go. and i would do anything to have one of them tunze streams for my tank, but they are alittle to powerful for my lil ol 46 bowfront

The RO is not new I have been using it periodically for my 40 gallon tank. It has probably ran 200 gallons through it. It seems to have leveled out at about 3-4PPM.

Well, I got my dedicated circuit done and my float valve. 2 of the three tanks are fully plumbed. Mounted my RO unit. Bought my cabinate wood. Started filling my sump up. Painted my tanks. Hmm can't think of anything else.
