I got my sump but no bulkheads, he said maybe Friday. I should have just ordered them from Advanced Aquatics and I would have gotten them already.

I hate snow.

TUNZE TURBELLE STREAM ***6060***

What do you guys think about this for a supplement to my CLS? I could run 1 or 2 in each tank?

Yes, Chris I just looked at your thread. I saw the pics thats what got me going on them again. Someone had mentioned it to me before but the price was out of the question but, I found these for a reasonable price and I thought I would bring it up again. With my CLS, returns and Tunzes I would be flowing about 11,700 GPH with in all three tanks. Thats roughly 44 times volume for flow. That should just about cover it. I'm gonna wait and see how my CLS handles it before I purchase any tunzes.

The new approch

drilling rig.jpg

That seemed to work out really well. It took twice as long but I didn't have to do anything except add water and grits.

I have now got 2 of the tanks drilled. I have not started on the 3rd tank yet I ran out of abrasive powder. My bulk heads should finally be in on Monday and I will get some more abrasive powder. If everything works out right I will be filling it this week end and doing a leak check on it before I add any salt. 395 gallons of water at about 60 gallons per day = about a week to fill it up. So the following week if I dont have any leaks I will add salt to it and order my LR and lights. I have a really nasty feeling I'm not going to have enough flow.
