Jason that last picture it is kind of hard to see the reactor, could you take another pic but lower so we don't get the light interference.

bulbs are new, wait to measure irradiance until after your 100th hour of burn-in. When folks change bulbs and do not allow for the huge intensity increase for the first 100 hrs of burn time, they end up bleaching many corals, especially stonies.

Ok, here are some close ups of my connections.

This first picture is of the bubble counter. I don't have it hooked up because I didn't want to cut the line if that is not where it goes.

The second picture is of the CO2 line comming form the solinoid and down tothe venturi valve to the system.

This is just a gener shot of the lower part of the plumbing.

This is a pic of the line from the first chamber to the second chamber.

This last one is a pic of the return line to the sump.

I'm a little confused about the second chamber. How does the PH drop enough in there with no direct line of CO2 into it? and wouldn't the first chamber desolve significantly faser than the second chamber?

Yup, I figured I'm gonna have a 750 gallon tank, so, I better get everything to fit.

I want to get a tank that is 96X48X48 some day and I want it all to work with out too much upgrading.

For the wires i might have an idea. Use some form of tube or wire wrap or whatever you want to call it and put it around the wires and then run the wires up the cables holding the lights themselves from the walls. A little hole at the back of each base for the bracket thingie that the cables are attached to and run the cords through that. The adding the wires and stuff to attach them should be no big issue for someone of ur building expertiece. I know from experience that runnung wires through attics is easy. But if theres a second floor then my advice will probably do no good.

Jason, the tanks are looking great! I really like your stand.

Can't wait to see them brimming with corals!

That would bring the wires up into my bathroom.

As for my building experience. I'm just winging it. For real. I don't really know how to do anything. After I gutted my entire house one day (I mean gutted) my wife sat on the front porch crying because she new I didn't know anything. She about had a nervouse breakdown. But, all is good now. And the house is still standing (much to my suprise).

The setup for the reactor looks good so far, what are you using to push the water from the sump into the flexible tubing at the intake end of the recirculating pump? If you can do this, I'd get a quick release for the line going from the sump pump to this line, it just makes things easier when cleaning and the pump is difficult to get to. Also, nylon reinforced flex pipe has less tendancay to collapse when bent, I use it in any line that has pump on it.

Do you have the controller there now?

I just ordered a MJ1200. I'll look into the nylon hose. The controller is on back order it will be here soon.

Is that where the bubble counter goes? Do I just fill it half full of RO water?
