Looks like she need a new stylist, or the stylist needs a new hair dryer!

Here is a pic of the packages I got today.
Here is a pic of the actinics over the tank. Just one is on.
Here is a pic of the MHs and the actinics.
Do you think 85200 lux is a lot?
I need to look that up and see what the par is on that. These are 15k bulbs, too.
More pics to come. I still havent opened my CR-6.

According to my calculations (off whiskeys thread) that 1151 PAR. Thats alot. But of course the reading was taken from 6 inches with out any water. We will see what it is under 20 inches of water.

Here is a picture of my massive (lots larger than antisipated) CR-6.
Here is a picture of my lights. The one on the left is with 15k MH only.
I am really dis-liking the wires from the hoods. Any one know how I can hide them?

The bottom of the tank PAR is 114 PAR with out the actinics. The top of the tank just under the water about 3 inches down is 243 Par. Both readings are with the light about 14 inches above the water.

I cannot believe that those actinic PCs have a LUX of 8500 at the waters surface. Thats 114 PAR, same as the MH at the bottom of the tank.

The MH are hotter than expected. I'm definatly gonna have to run them a ways above the water in the summer. In the winter I believe I will be ok to run them closer. But with the level of lux I'm getting It will be good even if I have to run them 24 inches up. I'm gonna need to run more wire up to the lights. I blew a fuse last night. I think I will just run one 20 amp circuit for each tank. It will be over kill but if I ever need to expand I will have some head room.
I will post some more pics tonight.

You can use spiral wrap. It'll clean the cords up but there's always going to be something there.

I was thinking just regular wire loom but, if I can buy the spiral wrap in black I think it would better be suited for the job. Thanks, Butch.

Anyone want to walk me through the assembly of the calcium reactor. I emailed andy but I didn't get a response. Perhaps this weekend (if someone would help). I THINK I have it right but I don't KNOW if it is.
