Well, I got salt in my tank. I'm really impressed with that skimmer. Its already pulling junk out of the system. My wife has the camera again or I would post a pic of it.
The skimmer is flowing signifigantly more water through it in the salt water and is keeping up with that return pump no problem.
I do need to pick up another 1 inch ball valve when I go to Menards today.
I'm also sure I'm gonna need suplemental circulation in there to. I think I will by 2 tunzes for each tank with timers $$$$$. That should cover the circulation issue.
My lights still havent shipped out yet. I'm gonna call them again today.
I decided to order either the CR-5 or the CR-6 from Andy. He should be sending me an itemized estimate for each today sometime. After that I will order one.

I priced my live rock today. 300 pounds Fiji premium, 100 pounds Haiti ultra and 100 pounds of Tonga (?) branch. The Tonga branch is twice as much as the Fiji. I don't know why. The Haiti stuff was the cheapest. His cost was $1.49 per pound on that stuff. I'm wondeing if I should just buy all Haiti rock.
Total with out shipping cost: $1250 thats cheap I think.
My LFS loves me.
I have to find out how much shipping will be on monday. I'm thinkin around $1 a pound maybe more.

just wondering/confused... why did it take so many days to fill your tanks? Are you buying water and having to cart it home? hmm.. I must have missed something...
Can't wait to see the rock in it!

395 gallons divided by 20 gallons per day equals 19.75 days to fill.
BY the way the spell check translates your name into distasteful.

My old 40 gallon sumpless set up is alot louder than my new set up. I thought I would throw that out there.
Old set up = Hagan 802, Hagan 201, Rio 600 ( protien skimmer).

I really want to get a picture of the skimmer in action and all the gunk it pulled out of the tank. Every thing is out now. I guess I could turn it up some but I would like to leave some trace elements in it for the corals. I'll kick it back up when I get the LR.
