starting the process!

Well I have made some small decisions and have started purchasing stuff! Today I ordered a new tank, a 50 gallon that is 36x15x20. I have ordered the conciencious marine aquarist .
I am going to use the 50 gallon as my display tank, and my 29 gallon as a sump with a divided off refugium section. I also found a amazing LFS today that is about 120 miles away, but was totally worth the drive. I was checking out the book that I have on order, and it seems like it will really set me up with alot of what I need to know.

I am ready to order a skimmer, and was thinking about he Aqua C urchin, would this be a good investment? or are there any other recommendations?

As far as my pump I am planning on getting a Mag 7 for the return.

I have been drawing up my plans for my stand and hood, I am cant wait to start building ( I love woodworking!)

Well I just thought I would share with those that are interested in following my progress.

later
Big Tom

Kewl on the new tank, sounds good tho I think I would look at the Urchin Pro for a 50g tank
BTW the stated dimensions figures out to 46.7 gal FWIW
have fun with the new tank
