well, I'm starting a new reef tank after not having one for years - I started with a small 25g holding tank for an eel I bought, later added some macro, then later some inverts, then later a light I had that i never got around to selling - and then one day I added a lonely little gbta, and Voila!
anyhow - I just put all this and some of my nicer rock into a reef-ready 3 ft. 55 and thought i'd post a couple pics.
It is acrylic 3ft wide 15" deep 24" tall. 1.5" drain (nice) to 25g sump with an Octopus nw-150 skimmer, 1000
gph return pump & seio 1100 in tank for some truly vigorous flow. Still using the coralife pc's from the 25 but I don't have anything real demanding as of yet so no real worries, MH upgrade won't be too far off though.
Also, when I moved tanks the anemone split almost immediately, which is always cool to see.
