Well folks what I thought was a fire coral may have turned out not to be one!!!! Rats!! This is what I believe it to be even though they both look quite a bit alike!!
I was given the info on another board so what do you think!

A true case of mistaken identity!! I still like the coral and it is growing!

Well Johnnie, since a fire coral is actually a Milleopora sp, next ime try the touch test, there are certain texture differences that are a dead giveaway

see what happens when you wander, hehehehe

Lol Johnny, it still looks pretty cool. Yeah, try the touch test, better yet, next time fly Jerel up to try the touch test. Then have him see if that is really a mantis shrimp (touch test) and then he have him come over to my place to see if I really have bad isopods (stick your arm in the tank all night test)

Very cool coral, glad to hear it's doing well.
