SS clamp in sump

I just want to know if I should do do something special now that I found a somewhat corroded SS clamp in my sump. Other that take it out which is already done. Have I hurt my tank, fish, and/or corals?

Wait till you get into CA reactors, dosing pumps, etc, etc,... it never seems to end. The corals are cool looking though

I have all these items. They do not seem to be the issue. The issue is me. As I stated in a previous thread, there seems to be no end to the stupid/careless things that I am capable of doing. When it comes to my tank.

I was going to bring up this same question. As far as hose clamps go, the plastics ones suck. The stainless ones are the only ones that hold but the screws always rust. Is this harmful in the water and what else can I use?

I didn't mean there not good equiptment, what I ment was, when all that junk gets involved there are a whole lot more things to go wrong, and a whole lot more to do wrong.

Like your CO2 running out and not noticing for a week Hmm, CA @ 310? That's not right,.....

You really don't want them rusting in your water. I use two or three zip ties, pulled with pliers as tight as I can get them in the drink.

Make sure you don't get the ones with the metal clicker thing though.
