SPS growth change
This is one of those "customer brings ice chest of frags to lfs while I'm there" kind of deals, never have figured out what it exactly is. Tissue surface is orange in color, but polyps are so thick, you only catch glimpses of it. I've had it for a year and a half, first in a 70 where it never even attached to the rock or grew. Then I moved it to the 150, up high with plenty of light. In first pic, it'd been there for two months and hadn't attached. I moved the two frags adjacent to it, and eventually the frags you see in the second pic were placed. They grew like weeds (A Pocillipora and an Anacropora) and the unknown finally attached and started spreading along the base. The Pocillo had a small patch of dieoff when they got close to each other, then started growing in the opposite side more rapidly. When I realized the Anacropora was threatening, I noticed the branches starting to grow on the unknown. They have grown what you see in the second pic in only two weeks! And this after more than a year of no growth whatsoever. Just thought ya'll might be interested in seeing. Any conjecture as to the genus/species of the long tentacled unknown would be appreciated.
