I have made available some corals for trade or sale on my web site. Sorry, trade or sale to local Portland, OR folks. I'm not setup to successfully ship any corals. Check out my site and let me know if you are interested.

Thanks Rick. I am trying to promote hobbyist from trading or selling their frags from their own tank, rather than buying from collected corals which are normally acquired through LFS. I also do support my LFS, but we can slowly save the reef and save our pocket by sharing amongst ourself.

If you have frags or fish for sale, you are welcome to use this as well. It's open to the public.

Thanks
Jim

I have a recently setup prop tank and have found that LFS's are happy to take captive grown corals. It's a win-win for everyone. They have no shipping costs and the corals arrive at the store healthy.

Same here. I will typically give the local reefers a chance to trade or buy before I take them to the LFS. This way, if they want to buy, then they won't have to pay the LFS overhead cost. Does your LFS give you cash or credit or trade for other livestock?

I'm also trying to setup a prop tank in my garage. Have some old tanks that will work nicely. Good luck with your prop tank.
