spraybar pump opinions

I'm thinking I like this idea of a spray bar. I think I want to try putting one in my tank. I've got a reef ready tank with it's own overflow in it, and I think I can fit a small pump down inside the overflow and then run the plumbing up over the top and back down to the bottom where it would T out to the actual spray bar.. This would allow me to hide it pretty well without having a lot of plumbing showing. So my question is, what size pump would be good for this sort of thing. The tank is 36"x18"x20" but the grand total of the spray bar will be a little longer due to having to work around the overflow in the tank.

I don't have to put the pump in the overflow, but I didn't figure it would hurt anything. And I like having as much equipment hidden as I can.

Or am I just completely off my rocker?

not really a good idea to put a pump in the overflow. if the water level of the tank were to change you could quickly run the pump dry.

it would be better to just put it up in a corner and run the spraybar down behind the LR. that way if it were to have a problem you can replace it without much trouble. it will also not be at the mercy of the water level.

ok, you convinced me. I hadn't really thought about that part... I think with some creative rock work I can hide it anyway.

But what size pump?
