Spray Bar

What size holes are people using in there spray bars and how many? Is there a hole size per inch of pvc ratio I should know. I will be putting in a small spray bar 15" or so down the back of my tank. 3/4" with about 900gph flowing through it at the most. Most of the time it will be split with another outlet, but I will crank down the other outlet when I am wanting to get everything off the bottom. This is a BB tank.

Thanks for the help.

AJ

i think most people suggest 1/8" holes. about 1/2" apart and staggered

Mine is 1/2 inch and looks like swiss cheese.

I have 14 holes facing straight up and 14 horizontal to blow out under the rocks.
With that many holes, it kills the pressure quite a bit. I tried it with a mag 7 and it was aweful. I upped it to a mag 12 and that did the trick for me. Of course, my spraybar is attached to 2 other nozzles so that really drops the pressure.
