Spotted Sea Hare

i was thinking about getting a sea Hare, a yellow cucumber or a sea apple.

i know the Sea apple will release toxins but will the others?

i was tempted to get one while at the LFS but decided i needed to do research

Sea hare can nuke your tank as well and can be hard to keep alive. Its kind of a double edged sword. Tanks that are dirty enough to need a sea hare, are also too dirty and unstable to support one.

I dont recommend it

only the cucumber i would recommend for you. Sea Apples are tough to keep. it is hard to get enough food in the water column to support it. sea hares are tough to keep. they eat an insane amount of algae. i had one for about a year. i would rotate it between two systems. even then it was slowly getting smaller instead of larger.

cucmbers are great. the turd ones are the best. but the yellows are also good. once in the tank you will prolly never see it again.
