Sponge ID!


I know there are several species of sponge and I read something on this one but can't find it again! It is growing quite nicely underneath a ledge in my largest and oldest LR!

have no idea on an exact ID. i have several in my tank. i even have several black ones (the are alive and growing). they seem to be doing fine, even with my limited feeding.

hey I got some of those mine are in the open under halides and are growing like mad and turning a darker tan than in the pic.
I never did find out a deffenate ID on them LOL
