sponge

I have a sponge that is basically dissintigrating. Any ideas? I have only a few fish in here. Clowns a blenny, cleaner shrimp, peppermint and a cardinal. Would a worm eat it?

difficult to keep. did you or the LFS you got it from remove it from the water to put it into a bag? trapped air in them will kill them pretty quickly.

actually I got it from a friend and we did all of it under water. I have had it for 2 months now. Some of it was/ is growing but recently it has taken a awful turn. I found some type of worm inside of it tonight. Thats why I was wondering if it would eat it?
