spliting anemones
I bought a GBT at the LFS the other day. I've not ever had luck with them. (I know when the last one died I said I was going to KOI). Anyway, this one had been in the store for three weeks. Foot was redish, about 4" in diameter. Head like a small plate,9-10". They had lowered the price to $40. I couldn't help myself. It's eating, found a spot, Maroon is in love, all's good. I was looking tonight, I think it maybe spliting. One portion of the head is pulled slightly away from the foot and is starting to kind of get round shaped. There is a white looking dot forming toward the new middle of this piece. Is that how they split? I've never seen.
