South Pacific Rock (pic)

Ok... well, I took a quick snap at the rock while it's curing in the tub. :-)

The white is a little piece of PolyFilter that I put in there.

thought I'd also put some picts of my new skimmer :-) Bullet-2 from Precision Marine

yea that is a REALLY cool skimmer. i wish i had a foam reservoir that big on top! I'm thinking about using a custom mod i thought up on my aqua c ev200 to increase the foam tower on top so it quits clogging the air holes! I tested it with foil and its a go as soon as i get my butt to the plastic shop.

I just looked at some pictures of the AquaC and I noticed one thing that I kinda like about the AquaC. It's the collection cup. On the AquaC the drain is about an inch above the bottom, where as on the Bullet-2, it's at the bottom of the collection cup. So.. the skimmate never really stays in the cup at all. *shrugs* I kinda would like to have the option that I don't have to have to constantly have it attach to some bottle to collect the waste.

HOOOOOEEE!! That's a lot of skimmate!! What kind of tank is that hooked up to? It'd be a shame if it was hooked up to a reef under 1000 gallons.
