Tested twice, changed to end color at 14 both times, its a pretty clear test, it changes colors to end color on the right drop

Your dkh wouldnt rise because of windex, and it wouldnt cause HA. But excessive nutrients would. Test your DKH again and see if it was a misreading even though you already did twice.haha. and like Jadinop said about the bulbs, those pcs are probably done. Windex has other things in it besides just ammonia, which I have seen people go to the lfs with there whole 110 or 210 wiped out by the stuff. or by an airfreshner there (significant other) put in the wall next to the tank. Just gotta watch it. May not be the issue now. I would still do a pretty good water change. they fix a lot of problems, and dont cost much.

The 29 Biocube only uses 2 PC bulbs. Are both of them actinics now?

1 actinic and 1 50/50 bulb. Came home today from upstate to find the xenia with brown slime on them and they were pretty much dead, the 2 day blackout didnt help with the hair algae at all, again bulbs are only 1 and about 3 months old, so dont think its the bulb, i dont know how i could have a nutrient problem, feed every 3 days a tiny bit a little at a time and it is ALL eaten, blow off my rocks during water changes and suck everything up, siphon the sand bed

1 actnic and one 50/50 would give you roughly 75% actinic lighting. Thats a little much. Your not getting par levels like you were with the one actnic and one 10k. Or two 50/50 bulbs. I ran 300 watts of actinic over a 29 gallon.......everything got brown and started to whither away. Try to get a 10k bulb, that will help you out a lot.

I did use a calcium buffer two weeks back but that was because the corals were looking bad and calcium was a little low.

witch tank is this your 10g?
if so try more light or moving the corals to the 29g. if you don't have the light/money for them right now.

Define what you mean by calcium buffer... like 2 part?

Try managing the mineral load (mag/Ca/Kh) with water changes for a few weeks. Use something with higher mineral content or if you are going to adjust minerals, do it before you add the water to the tank.

As mentioned above you likely have very little PAR coming out of an actinic and a 50/50. Consider getting a daylight/10,000k bulb. You can try running it with the actinic, which is about the standard set up or with the 50/50 wich would offer more PAR but may look too yellow or washed out.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
