something really wierd...

So i was watching my tank and i watched my percula swim over to a frilly mushroom and it looked as though he was taking a bite of it. however he did not let go with his teeth and just stayed there 'sucking' on the frilly end of it (thats what it looked like) until he let it go without taking any of it with him. very wierd. any ideas on why my clown was sucking my mushroom?

possible something to do with the way they get their protective slime coat for hosting anenomes in the wild, i dunno though, just a wild guess, clowns are so weird, guess they are appropriately named.
