Some days are better than others
Lastnite I purchased a frogspawn, I purchased it while I was on a trip in Pensacola FL, and I drove it back to my place here in Ocala FL..about a 6 hour drive. Lastnite when I aclimated it and put it in the tank it was drawn shut but I expected that. This morning when I awoke it looks worst than lastnite, Im afraid that its not going to make it. Also some of the pieces have begun to detatch and are kinda just floating around. My optimistic side on the outlook of my aquarium is at a all time low this time around.

Sorry to hear about that
6 hours in transit should not hurt it unless the water got TOO hot.

I put it in the refugium while it was still in the bag and let the water around it bring the water in the bag to the same temperature. When I finally put it in the tank it looked like it was going to do well...until this morning. I am getting ready to do a water change to see if that makes it any better.

I am no expert by any means, but those pictures don't look good. It looks to me like the tissue is all pulling back. did you not drip acclimate it at all? how old is you system? what is the temp in your tank? Perameters?

Aquarium Addict...Please dont take this the wrong way but from what I see in the pic it looks like your setup is Very new. Three is no coraline or any algea on the rocks in the background and the sand looks like it was just put in there. Is this a new system or established?
Just an observation.

No I didnt do the drip method and I really should've, My water temp is 82 degrees, I'm running VHO lighting, I've done my testing and everything seems pretty normal except for the ammonia level and I've determined that its extraordinarily high because of the frogspawns' ooze. The aquarium is about 3 months old at this time so it hasnt really established the coral liner and etc. allthough Im begining to see a little purple growing on small parts of rock.

Dave is a really good guy...I bought my 180 from him for just over wholesale when allglass was in buy out transition, got a heck of a deal. FYI...Dave will sometimes stand behind his coral and fish.
I am thinking your system might not be established enough for this particular type of LPS coral, sorry.
