so HOW many gobies in a 55?

Time to purchase fish again...

I WILL NOT BE ADDING ALL THESE FISH TO THE TANK

I have questions as to what I can mix and match here....

55 gallon softy tank

HEre is what is in the tank
yellow tang
6 line wrasse
2 blue green chromis - thinking about trading them in

the canidates
midas blenny
twin spot blenny

question: Do I need to choose between these 2 blennies or will a 55 house both of them?

hi fin goby
green or yellow clown goby

question: could all three go in a 55?
two clown gobies?
a clown and the hi fin?

black cap bassalet
naked clown
banggai cardinal fish
maybe a flame angel ( the family loves this one i don't like the idea of a "kinda" reef safe fish)

what would your combination be?

1 blenny per tank, unless you have a BIG tank

all 3 gobies plus a couple more will be fine

the rest of the list looks good as well

yea, pick a blenny, the gobies are fine, clowns stay really small, and the high fin is a shrimp gobie (i believe)

as far as the other 4, i would pick a couple, so you dont over stock.

only thing about gobies is that they can be a PITA to feed, mine eats about everything but it has to basically float right in front of his face for him to eat it lol, something about target feeding a fish just doesn't seem right haha.

I would issue a warning about the blenny. I just got a midas and he is a complete jerk...ripped up the fins on my wrasse. They pick a cave and if anything gets within 4 or 5 in of it, they get aggro on them (or at least that is what mine does). I had to rearrange my tank twice yesterday and I'm crossing my fingers the wrasse isnt being torn up while i'm at work. I have a bad feeling tho, the midas is going to have to go back. I have also heard that the midas is less aggressive than the bicolor...
