Snowflakes in Minnesota

Since we seem to be a little scarce on the snowflakes outdoors, I had to add one indoors. For those that know the transitions thats have been going on with the tanks, the tanks are pretty complete and this afternoon I welcomed a new addition......

Jan wants to name 'm Elvis, I go for the really cute names like "the snowflake" of "the eel". Got 'm to smile for the camera

Scary! With all my nightmares about snakes I don't think I could put an eel in one of my tanks. It might attack me during the night! Don't eels always look like they are hissing at something??

Yours is very pretty though, and equally kind I am sure. Good luck!

Very cool, always wanted one but thought they would eat everything in the tank.

Hi Folks,
Been busy today (another reef story), first chance to responed...
....Size: Best guess the snowflake is 8". Moved the corals from the 38g to the 90g so using the 38 for the snowflake and some other critters to come. Figure I have a year of so until it gets to big for this tank but that's then and....who knows.....

It/he/she seems to be doing well. Didn't want to take food yesterday but sure did today! Used the eel feeder/skewer and used some chopped chunks of shrimp. Went after those pretty well so, good sign, so far....
