Snails?

Why do snails always congregate at the top of the tank? Is there an answer for this behavior??? Do they dream of a life less confined? Do they get jealous when they see the humans walking around the room?

Depends on the species really.. nerites are tidal animals and head to the rim all the time in mine. The others just hang out on the glass or rocks.
