snail reproduction

so in my 20 gallon I have 3 large turbo snails. the other day I noticed a lot of little white spots on the glass. at first I thought it was coraline growth. after further examination I noticed that the white spots where reazlly little white spirals. any ideas if this is what snails do to reproduce?

well of course a picture would be more helpful but here goes...

There are two ways to tell.
Are these 'sprials' easy to scratch off the glass. If they are and come off in long strings yes. Unfortunately most of the animals we keep in the tank will eat the babies before they get big.

If they don't scratch off they are small fan worms/feather dusters and are harmless filter feeders. Just scrape them off the glass and they'll feed the tank. There is likely plenty more in your live rock and behind your rockwork.

because most of the types of eggs you find are laid in strings on the glass.

No tube worms(feather dusters) are a good thing to have in your tank. They are filter feeding. They are good to have.
