snail lovin' bow chica bow wow

one of my larger astrea snails was just shooting some cloudy gunk into the water (lets keep it G rated). Do snails reproduce quickly? And if so, how long until the stork drops some visitors in my tank?

So, are they kinda like clams, where the males release stuff and somehow the current drags it to a female and boom, babies. it's very interesting to see it happening in my own system. has anyone else seen this happen?

Yeah, I wasn't expecting it. I was just gazing at my tank which has almost nothing in it(i think im crazy). I guess i think i'll see something other than my rocks and snails. I can only imagine how long ill gawk at it when there are corals and fish. Not enough hours in a day!
