Snail ID Please...


I discoved a snail like thing in my tank last night...I cant take a pic as its hiding in a crack under one of my corals...if you make a circle with your index finger and thumb, thats about the size...its flattish not cone shape and its got a small, bright green fringe hanging out from under its shell...

any ideas...???

not sure if anyone is still following this thread, but greenbean was on the money...Its an Abalone of the Haliotis species...thanks guys for taking the time to answer my question...
