small pump BIG FLOW (?)

I'm slowly putting together a reef tank..... a 30gal high 24"(w) x24" (h) x 12"(d)

I want a submersible pump to move the water around my reef...but since its a smaller tank.... I want a pump thats LOW PROFILE (like the size of the computer mouse I'm holding) but can really pack a punch and high HIGH FLOW.... any ideas?????

Sidenote: I bought a ZooMed PowerSweep 228 that sweeps the water back-n-forth....but this pump is HUGE (over 6" long).... I think I'm returning it because after 7 days of pumping water the oscilating-mechanism is ALREADY acting jerky and weird....

NEED PROFESSIONAL IDEAS FROM YOU-ALL.... please :-)

Have you looked into Tunze Pumps? They give lots of flow and pretty small.

If you are handy there are some ideas on do it yerself Tunze type things if you do a search. They are pretty pricy and you can make your own.

We are going to rig up a spraybar for our 29 when we fire it up with a simple closed loop deal and an external pump.
