Skimmers and Epoxy?

I used some of that underwater aquarium epoxy to make sure the rocks I stacked up couldn't fall over and my skimmer overflowed with super wet suds like crazy. I was aware of this issue but just forgot to turn it off. What I am wondering is how long I should leave the skimmer off?

Thanks,
Jeremiah

Is there any way to adjust your skimmer? If so I'd turn it down so it doesn't skimm so much, maybe restrict the air intake or whatever it takes to reduce the skimming. Then turn it back up a little every day untill it's running normal. I'd also run some carbon to help out.

I have an EV skimmer and before I got my RO system I used tap with Amquel once. It bubbled up the skimmer like crazy.

RWD had it right..the manufacturer said to throttle back the air and keep the flow up then adjust it a little every day until everything is purged.

Cool, I put a valve on the air intake so I could slow it down and it's almost back up to full intake allready. Thanks for the advice all.
