Skimmer Question

I have been looking at a Seaclone 100 Protein Skimmer, its like $70 and I am on a budget, it says that it is rated up to 100 gallons and I am only running a 55 gallon long.

Does anyone have any experience with these or good alternatives.

I also noticed a Remora, I think that is what it was called.

Any suggestions would be great.

Don't bother with it. Save up a little more and get a good skimmer. The Seaclone is regarded as a poor skimmer, although there are a few that have got them to work after moding them.
The Remora would be a far better choice. It seems from what I have heard they are generally well liked and seem to be worth the money.

Save your money and Remora is OK ,but Coralife is better and even a better one for cheap price skimmers is a Octapus skimmers.

I have a coralife and thought the same thing about going cheap. The coralife kicks ass.
