Skimmer Problems

Three days ago I cleaned my skimmer and I have not gotten any skimmate since. I understand that it takes a day or so for it to "prime" again, but I think it should have done so by now. The bubbles seem a little larger before and I think that may be the problem... I'm using an excalibur hang-on model, and would like to know if anyone knows how to fix this? Also, if you have any other ideas on why I am not getting any skimmate, please let me know.

Welcome to TRT.I have had that exact skimmer and that is normal for that skimmer,I will admit the finer the bubbles the better it seems to work though.

thanks for the welcome... ive posted here before awhile back, but on another name... its really a great site.

So by saying thats normal, do you think that i will begin to see skimmate again soon or do I need to do some adjusting?

Same happens to my AquaC Remora a few days ago, it tooks 5 days for the **** thing to start skimming again.

Ya, you could give it a day or two more, and maby check the air intake tube to see if it is clear? just a thought,

thanks guys... got home from school today and saw tons of skimmate in the collection cup so it looks like everything is good
