six-lines don't carpet surf too well
I have been extremely busy last 2 days... only had time to check on tank temp, add top off water..and make sure everything was running well. Some of you may remember that for about the last 2 weeks my sixline wrasse has been harrassing the new lawnmower blenny unmercifully...actually would trap him behinf one of the maxijets and I think the poor thing would stay there all day until the only lights on were the moonlights. I saw them chasing each other way up high near the surface a few times and thought to myself that that was not a good thing. well, yesterday, I had time to just sit and tank watch... first thing I noticed was that Mr. Sixline tank-king was not out patrolling the entire tank...started to look around, found him, crispy-critter behind the tank on the floor.... I really really liked this fish.. aside from his thinking the whole tank was his alone...RIP my little sixline
Do you think I should get another one... is this a common thing for them to be aggressive with lawnmower blennies or did I just have a quirky one???

Sorry about you sixline, I had one that would harrass my lawnmower or any new fish I added untill they fight back then he would leave them alone. I think they are all act pretty much like the one you had.

Thanks.. do you think that since the six-line was already in the tank when I added the lawnmower blenny, that had anything to do with him harrassing the blenny? If I add another one, since the blenny is already in there will the sixline still harrass the blenny?

Yeah, I really like them... they spend all their time swimming the entire tank and I like their coloring. I will probably get another one very soon.
