Sign of possible egg laying?

I have been watching my adorable clown's here at work. They are in a tank beside me. (I know..I am lucky). Anyway, the female lately has been moving some sand around, and "picking" at the under ledge of a rock. As if she is trying to clean it. Could this be a sign that she is getting ready to clear a spot to lay some eggs? Or just sheer boredom since I am not entertaining enough. :-)

woot woot. I would be elated if they layed eggs. She will keep the hermit crabs away from them wouldn't they? Smack em around with her tail? :-)

Sounds like a definate maybe If they do lay eggs it will be a cool thiing, but the chances of any surviving are pretty nil, unless you can remove the eggs to a system set up specifically for them. Then there is the feeding issue, its hard to provide foods in the various sizes they need as they go thru the growth phases.
But if they do it once they will prolly wanna do it again, so you might be able to try at some point. Its not impossible to raise the fry, but it makes seahorses seem easy
