Sick Fish


Hey guys. I am attaching a pic of the problem. This is my friends Koran. I have never seen anything like it. It eats fine, swims fine. Its take mates include:

Black Volital Lion 4"
Passer Angel 4"
cherry grouper 2-3"
Singapore Angel 2"
Orange Spotted Rabbit Fish 10"
Dogface Puffer 6"
Stars and stripes 8-9"
18" snow flake eel

This is just my opinion but I’m guessing one of his friends may have bitten him – some of the fish you listed can be aggressive. Are any of the other fish suffering simmiler wounds?

Nope. Just him. And it sticks out about half an inch to an inch of his skin. Its just one big bulge really

Sometimes a sore will be raised after a fish attack. I would put this fish in a rehab tank and treat it with some form of medication as soon as possible.
