Shy Bi-color Blenny pics

My Bi-color blenny is in the quarantine tank at the moment as the main tank is undergoing a BB conversion but the removal of the fish was quite easy - i pulled the live rock out, he chills in it all day (shy little dude). He only comes out when no one is watching or when you watch from a distance (i think he's embarrased at his bright yellow jocks).

I've been trying to get a photo of him for months but these are the best i could get. I've tried to find pics on the net and it seems I'm not the only one having problems. I'll try to get better ones for the future as I reckon they are a great looking fish

PS: Anyone else with these fish notice that they are really good at reverse parking???? He swims backwards into his hole quicker than most can swim forward

Wonderful fish. I really love them but I had to get rid of mine because it was nipping at my crocea clam. It was so bad that my poor little clam was snapped shut completely. I got rid of him/her and the clam was back to normal. I still really miss him/her though.....

I just got a bi-color as my long owned midas did a carpet surf that was a sad sad day as he was one of my favorite fish. This little bi-color since putting him in my tank I have only seen him a handful of times total. I sometimes wonder if he is still alive, then I see him. He backs in and out of the rockwork and lays in the cracks......he is cute and but not out as much as my midas was......

My gigas clam ate my bi-color blenny I guess you could call that the clam's revenge.

Before anyone asks how a clam can eat a fish:

love those fish, not sure if you were around last year, but i had some power head issues, and while one of my pumps were off, my blenny quickly made a home out of it.
