show me your cowfish!!!
I was watching a little cowfish at the lfs the day I got my blenny. Those cowfish intrigue me more and more every time I see them. These were smaller than a golf ball, cute little guys. "Texas" longhorns!
So, tell me about them; what is their temperment like? Who do they get along with, or not? How big do they get, and what do they eat? I don't suppose they're super peaceful and I'm sure I couldn't get lucky enough for anyone to say that they'd be the perfect addition to my 38g?
Please post your pics, I want to see your little moo's!

yeah...Got one of those for the wife early on. It didn't make it, and we've seriously had problems every since trying to keep ANY fish in that tank.
Corals do great...tanks been up for almost a year...but 90% of fish we added later died for no apperant reason. My only guess is residual toxins release by the cowfish when it died.
Very awesome to watch, and cute as all heck, but not worth the risk, IMO.

They are a cool fish but need a big tank to survive.
Jessica have you looked at Basslets, dotty backs, or even a hawk fish for your small tank? If you dont have any shrimp then a hawk fish would be cool.

oh Skeety, I remember all that and had forgotten that one of these little cuties was the culprit.
Tim, no hawk for me, I don't want anyone eating my peppermint shrimp! When I was at the lfs they had this tusk fish, or something tusk, all I know is that I saw it and "tusk" popped into my head. Someday I'll have a lionfish of some species. For the 72g I'd love to have a volitan, but I know that would be a bit cramped for him. For now it's still a dream.
