Should this Crab go back in the tank or not?(pic)
I know the picture isnt the greatest..but his eyes are red, he's brown and has white dots down the middle of his back
I thought this guy was harmless until I read that crabs with red eyes are a bad thing!
So after about 30 mins or so, I finally got this guy out with a freshwater dip+a piece of wire to poke him out of his hole. He's currently sitting in a pitcher of saltwater. If hes harmful to corals(which i think he is) will the lfs take him, or will they want him at all?
Thanks fellas

Nuke him. The pinchers on it are for killing, not eating algae.Their sharp and pointed, not blunt and rounded. That's my reasoning anyway, better to be safe than sorry.

Agree with above. Looks like a bad guy to me, don't put him back in your tank. My guess is that the LFS won't want him either.

I've got a question...if I'm hijacking, lemme know.
A couple weeks back I bought a crab from the LFS titled as a "Red Crab," it was about an inch across, and I think the eyes were blue, I'm not sure though.
Are these bad crabs? I haven't even seen it since I put it in...
