shipping lr in the "COLD"

what kind of problems would i run into if i bought some lr from marine depot right now? seeing as how it is below zero here in indiana and isn't expected to warm up anytime soon....also, do i have to have my pc lights before i get my lr? the thing is i'm trying to get the pc lights, skimmer, and lr at different times so the wifey doesnt throw a fit....LOL or which should i get first? i'm guessing skimmer lr lights or skimmer lights lr...

The LR should be fine, Im assuming they pack it with heat packs. Getting the LR first isnt a bad idea. read the barebottom forum, and learn how to cook it. Even if you dont cook it fully, it'll be beneficial til you get the rest of your stuff in..

3. Lights

if you don't get the filter first, you may never get the correct size filter

The rock will be fine shipping in this weather, You will have to cook or cure the rock anyway. They don't cold or heat pack live rock, it is just damp
