could you post a full shot of the egg? it looks like a Chiloscyllium punctatum. very common. they do get large however. nearly 4' in length.

it a banded cat-shark egg, soon after it hatches, it'll live in a huge tank 400gal for good. but now,....it's so cute, keep on moving inside the translucent egg shell. man, i feel like an anxious mother now.

I have seen them at the LFS. It is really cool to see them moving around inside.

we had one in my dads tank and as soon s it started to hach, his koran angel i think it was (they look almost liek the emperor angels) grabbed it and pulled it out of the egg and killed it it was about 6 to 7 inches long when it hatched too
