setting up a kalk reactor

I am in the middle of building a reactor and was wondering what is the best way to control dosing kalk into my sump. If I ran it off my ATO, then there might be a possibility of overdosing so I was thinking of maybe putting a Tee right after the pump for the top off. One side of the tee would go through the kalk reactor and the other side would go straight into the sump. I would also be putting a valve between the the Tee and the kalk reactor and another one between the Tee and the sump. What do u guys think? Any recommendations?

I would just run it through the reactor. I never had any problems

you should have it on a timer to mix the slurry.
The amount of ro water you are using to top off will dilute the kalk mix. Add 2 tps to your reactor and work your way up to reach the levels you are looking for
