serpent star?

I have always had brittle stars. I had one 12 inch green that was great and kept the tank clean. He was like my little sea monster. Sadly, I was stupid and bought a trigger and there went my star. right after that... there went the trigger. Does anyone have any experience with serpent stars? Are they safe with fish and corals?

Alot safer with small fishes. Brittles that have moved to the 'dark side' are known to take down small fishes and especially small shrimps like peps. I have never heard of a serpent star doing that. On the downside however, serpent stars like to curl up in hidey holes and are seen a lot less frequently. Sometimes I could go for weeks without ever seein mine.
