"Important message from Sequence, the manufacturer of ReeFlo pumps. Unfortunately earlier in 2004 some of our less expensive pond pumps were outfitted by some dealers with saltwater kits. These units have motors which are much noisier and hotter than our premium motors. They were meant for outdoor ponds or systems where the pump is in a remote location. If your unit has one of these motors you can get a replacement motor from us. The incorrect motors are on the larger units and they have a smooth black finish with side vents. The correct motors have aluminum fins. The new motors are extremely quiet and have virtually no heat transfer. We have taken steps to insure that these motors are on all of our ReeFlo units.
