Thanks, Sorry bout the TV Michael, the ricordias were not that hot, he said there are more coming and I may be able to still get a disc. I'll try to find out when the shipment arrives and get first dibs.

Thanks for looking out for me. Since I spent all day here I did not make it to the store in Charleston that had the good coupons. I called and talked to the owner and found out that all of the six line wrasses and royal grammas were sold at $12 but he does have foxface rabbitfish for $20. I am not sure I want to make the 2 hour drive one way just for that tomorrow though.

So today I wipped down the tank did a WC changed the filter bag, I added 6 snails to try to stay ahead of the algae, and another hired gun to patroll the frags. A small but determined Yellow Wrass that gets along well with the Hovens Wrass. Still thinking about a small Bristle tooth tang that will get traded out as it grows, They have a few nano size tangs (About the size of a quarter to silver dollar max) at LFS ( Tomil., Y. mimc, Half blk mimic and a tiny Kole too, I will eventualy add only one) still may be early in the game to add. Heres the Yellow w/ Hoven's, yes the bottom was messy it was befor the WC, all better now.

So I both the DT and the FT perams are all good nitrogens all 0 PO4 0.03, the DT is sucking up the Ca as has been the trend, (Ca 370 meq/L Akl 3.45meq/L) the FT is a bit high for my target of 400, Ca 460/Alk 4.8. Heres the kicker both are showing MG of 1500ppm. I'm not dosing Mg, except for what is in the B-ionic and will be backing off on the dose for the FT but I don't understand why the DT's is so high. Ph in both 8.3. I'm thinking the B-ionic is high in Mg and the DT is using up the Ca/Alk for SPS growth but the Mg is acumilating. Should I be concerned? I have been using IO & Pro Reef salts in weekly WC. I need to find out what problems may arise w/elevated Mg, anyone know or have ideas?

Looking good Seamore. It has been a couple of days. I am in the airport in Columbus Georgia waiting to fly home. Have you found out any more info about the elevated mag level?

In the airport in Columbus Ga? I didn't think that airport was big enough to have a waiting room. Although I did drive by it last night and will probably go back by it this afternoon. You aren't but about 10 minutes from me while at the airport.
Ironic how the cheapest flights go through the small towns but if you try to book a flight directly to the small town, its a fortune.

Antdizzle no problem I thing it is a good deal
AW hope you made it home in one peice, and you spent some quality time w/your Bro & fam. I stopped dosing the B-Ionic in the FT since the Ca was also high (460 I like ~400mel/L) and will see what happens, the frags are fine still not sure about the ^Mg? I'm backing down on the photoperiod some 8 T5' takes some acclimating from what the corals are showing me. Going to borrow a PAR meter and ge some numbers on the DT and the FT for comparison. Funny I have one more 4 bulb T5 unit that can go on FT but I may have to set it aside for now. made some small ORA Supernatural frags last night, seem to be doing well.

That's good I hope Antdizzle. Well here are some of the frags, mostly monti's so far, the wrasses are on patroll. FT work crew is final now with the final addition, the smallest healthy Kole Tang I've erve seen, about the size of a silver dollar, and yes I have made arrangements to trade it in when it grows. It's a bit shy but has started working on the algae. Will be fragging a teal stag and two milli's this later this week.
