I actually believe he is making a dent. Somehow the rate of destruction on the caps has slowed dramatically within the last week. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is the downhill part of the battle and I may actually win it. I would highly recommend a yellow wrasse for any system as mine is always hunting as well. It is interesting to see how he can contort his body when trying to get at something, especially since he is a bruiser at almost 5 inches long or so.
How are things coming along with that sump?

Well I removed the mag 7 and took it appart, (it was the original primary return on the 75G I bought used) and it is amazing what a bit of maint. will do, went from sounding like there was a broken impeller to a quiet hum. There was some calcuim build up on the impeller magnet creating an inbalance when rotatiing. Started cutting the eggcrate to make the "pump cage" and the "lower critter retainer wall" to keep the snails and crabs in the LR area and out of the pump intakes. Need to find some nice non-reactive feet to keep the pump cage quiet.

It's awesome seamore . I was just at two lfs looking at all the frags they have .I think it's great that you have so much room to try literally as many as you want . And you have your own room,

That looks great Seamore. I am assuming you are only going to add snails and crabs that are over 1/2" in size now. The skimmer has some high quality snow going on in the body.
Are you only going to have live rock in the sump?

Thanks, Yes LR only in the sump for biofiltration, I have three rather large Emerald crabs that I don't trust in my DT or the frag tank, they can be as opportunistic as they like in the sump, and some buldozer turbos too. I have a lot of biodiversity (pods, tiny live shrimps...) in the LR and don't mind that getting into the display as a treat for the future Yellow wrass to play with. The skim was set on froth-o-matic after the cleaning.
Having the room is nice, having the space on the bench for a twin frag tank is called wishful thinking or planning ahead, not sure and will not admit which. I guess time and learning fragging skills will tell.

Added about 25 Lbs of LR from the 37Greef, can't add more and keep it wet, but that should be enough I think sinse I will not be loading up on fish. BTW the "pump cage is a great place to pre-condition my empty frag plugs.

Hey you left that date at home far too long with no attention while you walked away with other pretty things, several times, she was heartbroken, and needed someone to treat her right and help you realize that sometimes the polyps are greener on the other side. Sorry I know its Bro's before Co's but 30% off was more then I could resist.

Great summary of the prom date situation.
Congrats on the new corals.
My day was totally wasted as the Direct TV installer never showed so I called and cancelled the whole thing. That is not the kind of customer service I want.
